The Northern Territory, best known as Australia’s Outback, spans the heart of the country from the red sand deserts of the Red Centre to the tropical waterfalls in the Top End.

The Red Centre is home to the Outback pioneering town of Alice Springs as well as iconic Uluru (Ayers Rock) and Kings Canyon. Experiences in this region include hot air ballooning, camel trekking, hiking, skydiving and Aboriginal interaction.

Just a few hours flight from most Australian capitals, a range of unique experiences is closer than you think! The Ghan train is a great way to experience the heart of the country from Darwin to Adelaide with off-train tours in Katherine and Alice Springs. There are also a number of self-drive itineraries available for travelers seeking off the beaten track experiences.
